Quebec City, Montreal, Canada
Follow us on a magical three-day journey through Quebec City, where we stayed at the iconic Château Frontenac, skied the pristine slopes of Mont-Sainte-Anne, explored the enchanting Hôtel de Glace, and soaked in the charm, history, and incredible flavors of this winter wonderland.
Day 1
When we got to Quebec City, we checked into the stunning Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, and wow—what a way to start the trip! From our room, we had this incredible view of the St. Lawrence River. Honestly, just looking out the window felt magical.
To kick things off, we wandered along Terrasse Dufferin, breathing in the crisp air and soaking up the gorgeous scenery. For lunch, we found the coziest little spot—Le Lapin Sauté—in the Petit Champlain district. The rustic French-Canadian food was exactly what we needed to warm up.
After lunch, we explored Quartier Petit Champlain, a picture-perfect neighborhood with cobblestone streets, cute boutiques, and festive decorations everywhere. We stopped by Place Royale, a historic square straight out of a postcard, and took in the grandeur of the Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral—absolutely stunning!
For dinner, we went all out at Chez Muffy, a riverside gem with a farm-to-table vibe. Everything was delicious and perfectly cozy after a day of exploring. To top it all off, we wrapped up the night with cocktails at the super classy 1608 Wine & Cheese Bar back at the hotel. Sitting there, sipping drinks, and soaking in the atmosphere—it felt like we were living the dream.

Day 2
The next morning, we started our day with breakfast at Place Dufferin, right inside the Château Frontenac. The relaxed vibe and delicious options made it the perfect spot to fuel up for our big ski adventure. The drive to Mont-Sainte-Anne took about 40 minutes, and with the snowy landscapes rolling by, we were feeling totally ready for an adventurous day.
Once we got there, we dove right into skiing. The slopes were perfection—pristine with jaw-dropping views of the valleys. By lunchtime, we were starving, so we made our way to Le Summit Chalet. Let me tell you, nothing beats comfort food with a side of panoramic mountain views to recharge your energy.
Fueled up, we hit the slopes again in the afternoon, squeezing every bit of fun out of that fresh powder. Before heading back to the city, we tried out a few cross-country trails for a little extra adventure. It was peaceful and just as gorgeous as the downhill runs.
Back at the Château, we decided to treat ourselves to the Moment Spa. After a full day on the mountain, a little pampering was exactly what we needed. For dinner, we went all out at Légende par La Tanière. The food was so creative and delicious—it’s no wonder it’s Michelin-recognized. We ended the day feeling absolutely spoiled (in the best way).

Day 3
Our last day started with a visit to the absolutely amazing Hôtel de Glace (Ice Hotel). The ice carvings were so intricate and detailed—every corner had something cool to admire. We even sipped warm drinks at the Ice Bar, which felt like such a unique and cozy twist in the middle of all that ice.
For lunch, we made our way to Ciel! Bistro-Bar, a revolving restaurant with the most jaw-dropping views of Quebec City and the snowy winter landscapes. Watching the scenery slowly change while we ate was such a fun experience.
In the afternoon, we went full-on fairytale mode with a horse-drawn Carriage ride through Old Quebec. The snow-covered streets, the clip-clop of the horse’s hooves, and the charming vibe made us fall even more in love with the city.
For our farewell dinner, we chose Chez Rioux & Pettigrew, a vibrant and creative spot with an eclectic menu that offered a playful twist on French-Canadian cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to toast to an unforgettable trip.
Before heading back to the hotel, we took one last peaceful, moonlit walk through the Plains of Abraham. This sprawling park is a historic site, where a pivotal battle between the French and British took place in 1759, shaping the future of Canada. Today, it’s a serene green space in the heart of Quebec City, perfect for a quiet stroll. Under the soft glow of the moon and surrounded by the peaceful winter landscape, it felt like the perfect place to reflect on all the wonderful memories we’d made. It was an unforgettable farewell to this magical city.
